These sessions connect student-centred learning with the expertise of a professional artist. Working with a range of materials, the group is guided in explorations in drawing, painting and collage. Working as a whole class, in small groups and individually, we have fun building creative confidence, expanding our expressive language and creating some lovely artwork to take away.
Sessions can be comfortably adapted to any curriculum-based topic.
Groups of up to 30 students in Primary or Secondary education
With you wherever you are or at Arts Lab on the Dartington Hall estate in rural Devon. When the weather’s fine, the Dartington gardens and the river Dart are on our doorstep for inspiration.
Half day (3 hours) – £150

‘Sara has delivered a number of fantastic workshops at KEVICC. She is a talented artist and tutor who has a unique delivery style. She encourages students to experiment and express themselves thoughtfully. I would highly recommend her.’
‘The art looks fantastic and the children had such a brilliant experience.’
‘Some brilliant ideas. ….. Sara works really well with young people. We have received some really excellent feedback from the children – some of the best we have ever had.’
‘It helped me slow down, learn more about art and nature and that learning can be fun.’
‘I experimented with different techniques and was shown different art styles, helping me to find the style I like’.
‘We were given the independence to create our own style of art. Sara guided us, but we still had the freedom to do what we wanted.’
