Sara has painted, exhibited and held artist residencies around the UK and abroad for over thirty years.
She makes mixed media paintings on paper, experimenting with colour, texture, surface pattern and text. Each work is created by a build up of layers utilising recycled paintings and upcycled art created in collaborative workshops. Cutting up, rubbing out, scratching into, painting over and rearranging, the process is all about deconstruction and reconstruction and the discoveries made en route.
