Swept by the Tide

We used to spend a lot of time on the Outer Banks, North Carolina. The land erosion was significant, each year, the sea encroaching further, swallowing up beach houses precariously propped up on stilts. This painting made me think of houses or parts of houses being swept away by the tides.
