Who For and Where
Anyone can sign up to these sessions. The two-hour long workshops are held at my studio at Dartington Arts Lab or at my home in South Brent on the kitchen table.
These workshops are portable; if you have a group of friends or neighbours in your community who would enjoy doing some art together, I can come out to YOUR kitchen table with my box of portable materials and equipment.
What We Do
In a warm and welcoming environment, we drink tea or coffee, chat and get stuck into a range of creative activities. From still life drawing to intuitive, abstract painting and collage, you will be encouraged to be free and have fun exploring, using your imagination and thinking out of the usual box. Experimenting with a variety of art materials and techniques, the sessions are very much participant led, with guidance from myself and a new challenge each week. Much of the work is based on individual responses to music, nature, my own paintings and the work of each other and other artists. Creating at times collaboratively, in small groups and independently, the pace varies and embraces what those in the room want to follow or express on the day. Click here to see some of the work we’ve done so far: 2017, 2016 or 2015.
How much does it Cost
£10 per person per 2-hour session (materials & refreshments included)
